New PrismPlus U-series QD Mini-LED TVs launched in Malaysia; prices start from RM2,699
TV and monitor brand PrismPlus has just launched their new U-series QD Mini LED TVs. The new TVs feature multiple local dimming zones that can switch off independently to offer deep blacks and higher contrast while offering vibrant colour rendition and image quality approaching OLED performance.

In Malaysia, the PrismPlus U series QD Mini-LED TV series comes in the 55-inch U55, the 65-inch U65, the 75-inch U75 and the 86-inch U86 QD Mini LED TVS.
While the models come in different panel sizes, they all have a common set of features with all models featuring 144Hz refresh rates along with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support and support for HDR10+ content. The new TV line-up also uses an AI Visual Processor chip that upscales played footage to near 4K image quality and has AI noise reduction to offer cleaner footage.
The new PrismPlus U-series QD Mini-LED TVs are all powered by Google TV as well as the full suite of Google features including built-in ChromeCast, Google Play and Hey Google voice command support. All of the PrismPlus U-series QD Mini-LED TVs, feature a rear 40W subwoofer and a pair of 30W speakers for a measure of built-in sound.
In terms of pricing, the 55-inch U55 retails for RM2,699, the 65-inch U65 is priced at RM3,699 while the 75-inch U75 is priced at RM5,099 and the mammoth 86-inch U86 is priced at RM8,499.
The new line-up will be available for preorder from 3 October onwards with those who preorder the largest U86 model getting an RM500 discount off the purchase price and the other smaller sized models getting RM100 discounts. According to PrismPlus, the new TVs have street dates slated for early November 2025.
PrismPlus Inspire FDR series fridge specs and price
PrismPlus has also launched their new 750l Inspire FDR 750 and Inspire FDR 720 fridges which have customisable colourways that can be tweaked to taste before purchase with five selectable panel colourways which can give a kaleidoscopic look to the fridge if you so desire. In terms of colourways, you get your choice of Sky Blue, Pastel Pink, Pastel Beige, Matte White and Matte Black.
The new Inspire series fridges have energy saving metal panels on the interior for more efficient cooling, an inverter compressor offering 12 years warranty and an LED touch display to control temperatures and cooling modes. The four-door 720L model retails for RM3,599 while the larger 750L side-by-side model retails for RM2,999.
