Acer rolls out new Predator ES Thunder Pro e-Scooter at IFA 2026

At IFA 2026, Acer unveiled a host of offerings across the range from their Predator Atlas 7 handheld to their Vero 16 laptop. Not only did they roll out a slew of computing devices, they also rolled out the latest addition to their e-scooter range, dubbed the Predator ES Thunder Pro.

Predator ES Thunder Pro features

Intended for everyday usage, the Predator ES Thunder Pro has a 500W rear-wheel-drive DC motor that has a number of improvements over its predecessor that include 32Nm maximum torque and 1,600W peak output power for smoother, faster acceleration and climbing inclines.

Mated to the motor is a Traction Control System (TCS) capable of adjusting power output in real time to ensure stability in wet or low-grip surfaces for a better ride. Other mod-cons include 10-inch tubeless pneumatic off-road tires, an IPX6 water resistance rating, front daytime running lights, side RGB ambient lighting and range sufficient to cover 70km on a single charge.

Acer hasn’t skimped on the software as well and the Predator ES Thunder Pro also has dual-platform location tracking as well as real-time diagnostics via the Acer eMobility app to check battery status, lock or unlock the e-scooter and more.

According to Acer, the Predator ES Thunder Pro will be available for EUR799 in Q1 2027 in Europe first though availability in other regions hasn’t been announced as yet.
