IFA 2026- Acer reveals Predator XB253Q U1 gaming monitor with impressive 1000Hz refresh rate

Acer launched a host of innovative tech and gear at IFA 2026 including the unique DualPlay Mini concept design but they’ve outdone themselves this time around as they have unveiled a new gaming monitor with a ludicrously impressive 1,000Hz refresh rate – the Predator XB253Q U1.

The Predator XB253Q U1 uses a 24.5-inch IPS panel with a Full HD refresh rate, a 0.3ms response time with Visual Response Boost (VRB) Pro, a 100,000,000:1 contrast ratio, up to 450 nits peak brightness and a 90% DCI-P3 colour gamut. The display also supports VESADisplayHDR 400 certification and also integrates AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC for tear-free visuals.

Rounding things off, the Predator XB253Q U1 packs a pair of HDMI 2.1 ports and a DisplayPort 2.1 port.

In terms of pricing, the Predator XB253Q U1 will be available at USD1,099 in Q2 2027 for the United States market while it will retail for EUR1,099 in EMEA in Q1 2027. In China, the monitor will retail for RMB7,999 in Q1 2027. At present, there’s no official word on a launch or pricing for Malaysia but we’ll keep you posted.
