ROG XBOX Ally X20 now on preorders in Malaysia at RM10,999 with insanely good free gifts

Handheld gamers rejoice as ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has released the limited edition ROG Xbox Ally X20 gaming handheld in Malaysia with preorders coming with an array of free gifts and other extras.

For the uninitiated, the ROG XBOX Ally X20 is a special edition variant of the ROG Xbox Ally X with a host of upgrades along with a classy looking black with gold trim paint job akin to their 20th anniversary edition collection gear.

In terms of hardware, the ROG XBOX Ally X20 hosts a larger 7.4-inch Nebula HDR OLED panel on account of a slimmer 3.78mm top bezel compared to the stock model that offers up to 1,400 nits peak brightness which is currently the world’s brightest for a handheld PC, a 120Hz refresh rate, 0.2ms response time and FreeSync Premium Pro with VRR between 30-120Hz. For good measure, ROG has paved the display over with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and also has a Corning DCX coating to offer 65% less reflections.

Running under the hood is an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor paired with 24GB LPDDR5X-8000 RAM, 1TB PCIE 4.0 SSD and a large 80Wh battery.

Other upgrades include a transforming D-pad that can change from 4-way precision mode for retro gaming to a more precise 8-way fluid mode for fighting games, frictionless slides for the ABXY buttons, an Xbox button with green backlighting and more responsive shoulder buttons and triggers.
