Awesome new Acer Predator Helios 16, Helios 18 and Aspire 7 gaming laptops debut in Malaysia

Acer has just launched their latest generation gaming laptops in Malaysia that feature 13th Gen Intel Core CPUs, dedicated Nvidia GeForce graphics as well as premium displays with 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut reproduction dubbed the Acer Predator Helios 16, Predator Helios 18 and Aspire 7 laptops alongside the new Swift 14 and Swift Go 14.

What is the Acer Predator Helios 16, Helios 18 and Aspire 7

The Predator Helios 16 gaming laptop comes with a 16-inch WQXGA slim display with a 240Hz refresh rate, a tall 16:10 aspect ratio and full 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut.

Under the hood, the Predator Helios 16 is powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900HX processor, up to 32GB DDR5 5,600MHz processor split between two RAM slots, up to a 2TB RAID – PCIe NVMe Gen4 SSD and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 with 12GB GDDR6 vRAM with a rated MGP of 175W.

Keeping all this hardware cool is Acer’s custom-designed 5th generation Aeroblade 3D metal fans and rectangular vector heat pipes that offer enhanced heat venting capabilities in tandem with a custom printed liquid metal thermal grease. The keyboard is also of note with mini-LED backlighting with 1.8mm key travel.

Assuming you need more screen real estate, the upsized Predator Helios 18 beckons and has an otherwise similar hardware setup as the smaller Helios 16 bar the larger display.

In terms of pricing, the Predator Helios 16 and Helios 18 are priced from RM8,999 depending on configuration. Preorders placed before 30th April 2023 at selected concept stores stand to receive free gifts worth more than RM1,600.

The Acer Aspire 7 features a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS slim bezel display, features a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-12450H processor running under the hood, has 8GB DDR4 RAM with an extra slot that can support RAM up to 32GB, a 512GB SSD and an NVIDIA GeForce Core GTX 1650 with 4GB GDDR6 vRAM.
