In the PlayStation showcase, Ubisoft revealed their next addition to their epic stealth sandbox Assassin’s Creed franchise dubbed as Assassin’s Creed Mirage with a global release date of 12th October 2023 across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox series X | S, Xbox One, Amazon Luna and, of course, on Windows PC via the Epic Games store and Ubisoft store with a standard edition and Deluxe Edition as well as a premium Collector’s Case collectible.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage trailer and launch details
The gameplay trailer gives tempting hints to the game with the protagonist referred to as one Basim Ibn Is’haq who comes dressed around in classic Assassin gear with the characteristic hood and extendible fist knife. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is set in the city of Baghdad during the 9th Century – the Golden Age – and has Basim up to the usual things his order does, namely unaliving very naughty people in creative ways.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be the first Assassin’s Creed game to feature full Arabic localisation including text and voice with Lee Madjoub for the English voiceover and Eyad Nassar for the Arabic version.
The game is now available for preorder on the aforementioned platforms and those who do so will get a bonus quest called The Forty Thieves which revolves around the legendary treasures in Ali Baba’s cave. For more details visit www.assassinscreed.com
