Dell Technologies showcases Latitude 7330 Ultralight and Precision 5470 laptops with enhanced Dell Optimizer AI and TechDirect enterprise solution for Malaysia
Dell Technologies showcased their latest commercial laptops today for commercial and enterprise applications in a briefing for invited guests dubbed the ‘Bring The Latest Innovation To Your Hybrid Work’ where they demonstrated the new Latitude and Precision line-ups spearheaded by the Latitude 7330 Ultralight and Precision 5470 laptops.
The new Latitude and Precision range also includes the new Latitude 9430, Precision 7670 and 7770 laptops which all feature the latest Intel 12th Gen Core processors as well as the updated Dell Optimizer – a built-in software that leverages AI to deliver a personalised, intelligent user experience. Dell Optimizer learns users’ favourite applications and their habits to improve power utilisation, enhancing battery life and keeping users productive and engaged.

What makes the new fleet of Latitude and Precision series laptops game changers is the fact that they all incorporate the new Dell Optimizer that dynamically tweaks system settings to optimise performance and battery life in the background, as well as the new TechDirect service that allows for organisations to effectively manage large commercial laptop fleets.

The new Latitude 7330 ultralight is Dell’s latest laptop that epitomises portability and performance with a carry weight of just 967 grams in your choice of either conventional clamshell or 2-in-1 convertible options on account of the use of ultra light aluminium alloy in its construction.
In terms of hardware, the Dell Latitude 7330 comes with up to a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 U15 CPU with vPro, paired with up to a 13.3-inch Full HD touch display with a 16:9 aspect ratio; up to 32GB DDR4, 3,200 dual-channel RAM; and up to a 1TB SSD with Iris Xe graphics. Connectivity is top shelf with WiFi 6E as standard as well as 5G-enabled options.
In terms of I/O, the Latitude 7330 is armed for bear with a pair of USB Thunderbolt 4.0 Type-C ports for charging, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 with PowerShare, a HDMI port and an audio jack. Video calls are tackled via a top-mounted HD webcam, and keeping the whole affair powered by up to a 58WHr battery. For Malaysia, the Latitude 7330 is built to order based on customer specifications but prices start from RM5,644.30 and up, depending on configuration.
What is the Dell Precision 5470
According to Dell Technologies, their Precision 5470 clamshell laptop is quoted to be the world’s smallest, thinnest and powerful 14-inch workstation on account of the sheer amount of hardware they’ve crammed into an aluminium chassis that weighs just 1.48kg while being just 7.49mm thin.
Belying its carry weight, the Precision 5470 is powered by a 4-cell 72Whr battery and comes with up to a 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900H vPro enterprise processor, up to a ludicrous 64GB LPDDR5 5,200MHz dual-channel RAM, up to a 1TB SSD and an NVIDIA RTX A1000 GPU with 4GB GDDR6 vRAM. Display options include 14-inch FHD+ non-touch and QHD+ touch options, both of which have 100% sRGB and Gorilla Glass 4 protection.
The laptop features a quartet of speakers, two of which are upward firing with another two downward firing subwoofers, a top-mounted FHD webcam for video calls paired with a quad speaker arrangement with noise cancelling. Prices start from RM15,483.23 and up, depending on configuration.
Dell Mobility and Productivity Solutions
Also showcased were a variety of displays, docks and computer peripherals to enhance productivity in today’s hybrid work setting.
For those working on the go, the Dell UltraSharp 32-inch 4K video conferencing monitor is equipped with IPS Black technology and a 4K webcam, retailing for RM7,149.
Other work-from-anywhere peripherals include Dell’s first-ever ultraportable compact Dell 14 portable monitor that measures 14-inches diagonal and can act as a secondary display for another PC or laptop for RM1,499; Dell UltraSharp 4K webcam (also a first for Dell) which costs RM889.60; Dell’s Microsoft Teams-certified Speakerphone which costs RM358.56; Dell’s Universal Dock UD22 retailing at RM1,549.01 and the Dual Charge Dock HD22Q (that can wirelessly charge a smartphone and a laptop at the same time) for RM1,129.
