Grab now lets you book hotels, buy movie tickets and plan your trip

Grab the ubiquitous ride hailing app has expanded their reach yet again as they have launched three new options on top of being able to call for a ride and order food. The Grab app now lets you buy movie tickets, book hotels and plan your trips, all via without leaving the app. According to Grab, these services will be progressively rolled out in Malaysia and will be available to all users by June 2019.

Rolling out first is the trip planner feature that lets users get recommendations and directions for first-mile and last-mile transportation options including public transport options. The Hotels booking service lets Grab users book hotels initially from Agoda and eventually Booking.com without leaving the app and will be available for all users this May.

Last but not least the Tickets option lets you purchase cinema tickets from MBO Cinemas and soon, TGV Cinemas with payment accomplished via GrabPay. The tickets service will be rolled out in May. If you haven’t gotten these upgrades yet try and check for updates on your Grab app.
