Here’s where you can experience Samsung’s Gear VR for free
Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and S8+ were launched in Malaysia alongside an improved version of the Gear VR headset that adds in an interactive pointer that works with content. Outside of the official launch roadshow, there were scant few places that you could have a gander at how the phone and the VR headset worked.
Until now that is. Samsung’s Experience Store at The Gardens, Midvalley has just been renovated and reopened, making it one of the largest flagship stores of its kind in Malaysia and one of the first to host a Gear VR experiential zone that lets users sit down and experience the Gear VR and Galaxy S8 combo for themselves along with an integrated VR motion chair that combines movement along with the virtual reality experience. And no, you can’t buy the chair.
The revamped Experience Store also offers aftersales care for all Samsung products including repairs, advice and consultation as well as a showcase of all the latest Samsung hardware. In light of its grand reopening, the Experience Store has special offer. Buyers who purchase more than RM1,000 and above get a free Samsung mono Bluetooth headset while those who register their first payment card with Samsung Pay get a wireless charger stand. The offer is until 27 June 2017 or while stocks last.
