Jabra Elite range of headphones launched in Malaysia
Audio purveyor Jabra has upped the ante for consumers seeking superior sound as they’ve unleashed a trio of their appropriately appelated Elite series wireless audio peripherals which come in different form factors to suit different users. Launched today in Malaysia was their Elite 45e, Elite 65e and their Elite Active 65t earbuds.
Unique among the new range of audio kit is enhanced interactivity with voice assistants with Alexa added to the list of compatible virtual assistants, robust resistance against water and dust ingress as well as the ability for users to customise their listening experience further via the Jabra Sound app for iOS and Android. Jabra Elite Active 65t

Leading the pack is their Elite Active 65t earbuds that consist of a wireless pair of earbuds that fit snugly and securely into your ear along with a charging dock that is about the size of a matchbox. The earbuds themselves are IP56 rated for sweat, water and dust resistance, making them ideal for your next epic marathon or even just a run around the block and offer five hours of battery life before needing a juicing by simply popping them back in the charging dock.
The dock itself comes in matching colours, in this case a dark blue with bronze trim though an orange variant was spotted and offers two additional charges which makes for an impressive 15 hours of run time in the field. The headphones themselves also, in keeping with Jabra’s knack for top audio gear, able to make and take calls too once you’ve paired it up with a smartphone and also integrates voice support for most major assistants including Alexa. Jabra Elite 65e
Coming in a neckband form factor, the Jabra Elite 65e wireless headphones combines a host of Jabra’s best tech to create a superior listening experience with crystal clear phone calls.
This is on account of the Elite 65e’s trio of mikes integrated into the chassis and earbuds as well as their business-grade Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) tech which has seen service on many of their enterprise-range headphones. Combined, this potent combo helps to squelch external noise with extreme prejudice, creating a noise-free zone so that conversations sound like they’re taking place in a quiet room. Sweet.
To enhance comfort, the Elite 65e’s earbuds integrate uniquely designed EarGel ear pieces that offer a superb fit in the ear canal, ensuring a better passive audio seal and thus better audio quality as well as to avoid them jostling out by accident.

The most affordable variant launched, the Jabra Elite 45e retails for RM399 and has a unique memory wire that conforms to the contours of your neck for superior comfort. Paired with this is Jabra’s usual superb audio quality that lets you listen to tunes as well as make calls for up to eight hours before needing a juicing. Like its other siblings, the Elite 45e also offers immediate access to virtual voice-controlled assistants like Alexa, Siri and Google Now.
The Jabra Elite 45e only comes in one colour, which in this case is a shade of Titanium Black and has an IP54 rated chassis that offers water and dust resistance.
