Netflix RM17 mobile plan launched in Malaysia
If you can’t get enough of the good stuff on Netflix like Stranger Things, Love.Death.Robots and other top-shelf stuff, you’re in luck as Netflix is rolling out a new mobile plan for Malaysians at a low RM17 per month which is basically a cup of coffee at your usual international coffee chain.
The Netflix RM17 mobile plan allows subscribers to watch all of the good stuff on Netflix including their entire local and international catalogue on one smartphone or tablet at a time in standard definition (SD).
All of Netflix’s customary features like Parental Controls are all available and they’ve also made it easier for users with midrange phones to enjoy the Netflix experience as they’ve integrated an adaptive user interface that adjusts itself depending on the performance of the phone you’re using it on to keep things swift and snappy.
Seeing as Malaysians are prolific consumers of mobile content, the Netflix RM17 mobile plan is a fantastic proposition and Malaysia is the first country in Southeast Asia to get the Netflix RM17 mobile plan and the second worldwide after India. To date, 88% of Malaysians own smartphones and according to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission’s (MCMC) 2018 Internet Users Survey, 78% of Malaysia’s internet users spent time streaming and downloading entertainment on their mobile devices.
The Netflix RM17 mobile plan will be a standard feature for the indefinite future and existing members can also swap over to the mobile plan at any time at https://www.netflix.com/ChangePlan
