POCO F2 Pro priced from RM2,199 coming to Malaysia this 10th June

Flagship phones with high-end hardware like a Snapdragon 865 processor are usually expected to come with a hefty price tag but the POCO F2 Pro that’s inbound for the Malaysia market up-ends this perception entirely as it comes with an impressive array of hardware, including the aforementioned top-shelf CPU and a rear camera capable of 8K video capture for just RM2,199.

The POCO F2 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and the ability to support HDR10+ content. The phone comes with the Snapdragon 865 processor, currently one of the most powerful mobile phone processors in the market and along with it 5G connectivity, 6GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. 

The rear quad camera array consists of a 64-MP F/1.8 primary camera with a Sony IMX686 sensor, a 13-MP ultra wide angle camera, a 5-MP macro camera and a 2-MP depth sensor. Of note is that the primary 64-MP rear camera supports 8K video capture which makes it one of the few phones in the market capable of doing so. For selfies, the POCO F2 Pro has a 20-MP camera housed in a pop-up motorised array with 120fps slo-mo video capture thrown in for good measure.

The POCO F2 comes with a fairly large 4,700mAh battery with 33W fast charging. In Malaysia, the POCO F2 Pro will come in your choice of Neon Blue, Phantom White, Electric Purple and Cyber Grey at a price of RM2,199 but you can get it in a one-day special flash sale for RM1,999 on the 10th of June on Lazada. There is also an upgunned variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage for RM2,599 and a free BlackShark Funcooler worth RM139 thrown in for good measure.
