Razer Raptor 27 is the world’s first monitor with THX certification
On top of making gaming laptops, keyboards, chairs and even plushies, Razer even makes gaming monitors too and their latest Razer Raptor 27 is the world’s first PC monitor to get THX certification which means that it’s capable of an astounding level of image quality indeed.
In terms of specifications, the Razer Raptor 27 is a 27-inch IPS display with QHD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) resolution with a fast 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. It supports both AMD FreeSynch Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync so you’re covered on either side of the gaming pond.
On top of the aforementioned THX certification, the Razer Raptor 27 also boasts of a 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut and HDR400 support, ensuring faithful colour reproduction, deep blacks and brilliant whites.
Seeing as this is a Razer display, it does feature their Chroma lighting that can be synched via their Razer Synapse 3 software to other similarly equipped Razer gear. The monitors also have a separate VESA adapter for wall mounting that’s sold separately.
Razer Raptor 27 Price
According to Razer, the Raptor 27 monitor will be available sometime in early Q3 2021 for US$799.99 which is about RM3,312 while the VESA mount adapter retails for US$99 (about RM409) and will hit markets at about the same time as the monitor. For more details check out www.razer.com
