On top of new colourways, Samsung has kitted out their new smartphones with a veritable cornucopia of new technologies that quite simply make them the most powerful phone that they’ve ever made in almost every way.

The upgrades they have added to the phone are almost enough to fill a phone book if listed down from its custom Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor, its larger batteries, slicker and smoother OneUI 5.1 overlay, tougher Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and enhanced camera performance.

Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus – What’s the difference?

In the case of the Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus, Samsung has redesigned the phone from within and without. Both phones run on the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU for Galaxy processor, have 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and also have a similar front 12MP selfie camera and rear triple camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, 10MP 3x telephoto zoom camera and 12MP ultrawide camera.

For those who need more RAM, Samsung’s OneUI 5.1 does offer provisions to allocate storage for additional virtual RAM up to 8GB in capacity for swifter multitasking.

The Galaxy 23 has a smaller 6.1-inch FHD+ (2,340 x 1080 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED 2X  display with 120Hz refresh rate as well as a peak brightness of 1,750 nits. Where the Galaxy S23 Plus differs is that it has a slightly larger display scaled up to 6.6-inches though it has otherwise similar specifications.
