Samsung Neo QLED 8K Online Media Forum 2022 showcases latest TV innovations
While things are gradually getting back to the way things were in terms of international travel in the new normal, Samsung is temporarily shelving their global Technical Seminars for now. For 2022, Samsung is sharing their latest developments online with invited guests in their Neo QLED 8K Online Media Forum 2022 where their experts showcase the latest upgrades and features for their latest range of TVs.
Lauded as the world’s number one TV manufacturer for 16 consecutive years in a row, Samsung packs the cutting edge of tech into their tellies and their annual Technical Seminars are typically packed events that offer a deep dive into the inner workings of their latest generation TVs with the latest online forum offering a similar experience albeit online.
“The Media Forum provides an invaluable, firsthand look at new products, providing a deep dive into the technology and innovations that make this year’s lineup unique,” said Simon Sung, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “While we eagerly await a chance to hold events in-person, we look forward to sharing key insights from those who innovate our products – the engineers, the product experts, and more – through the online media forum.”
What’s new at Samsung Neo QLED 8K Online Media Forum 2022
For 2022, Samsung has enhanced their Neo QLED 8K TV technologies, building on their Quantum Mini LEDs and taking things up notch with expanded neutral networks, more precise 14-bit contrast mapping and AI-powered smart upscaling features to bring picture quality to the next level.
For the new Samsung Neo QLED 8K TV line-up, their upgraded Smart Hub user interface adds in easier content curation and additional smart features that enable the TVs to be a centrepiece of a connected home such as controlling house lights and more.
On the gaming front, Samsung has also enhanced the gaming experience as a whole on their new TVs with an enhanced Gaming Hub that adds practical updates like HDMI 2.1 ports for selected models, Motion Xcelerator Turbo Pro 4K 144Hz gaming support, a Super Ultrawide Gameview for a bigger picture and for FPS or RTS games with a mini map, they’re able to expand and offer an enlarged, larger view so you can keep tabs on what’s happening in the game at all times.
Samsung’s lifestyle TVs have also been upgraded this time around including EyeComfort mode for more comfortable extended viewing, the ability to add an NFT viewing gallery to admire purchased acquisitions and more. They’ve also added a unique rotation accessory that allows other lifestyle TVs like the Frame to rotate like the Sero.
Additional updates and new developments include Samsung’s new sustainable packaging, their SolarCell Remote and the deployment of their latest 2022 line-up of soundbars including an Ultra Slim model and an S Series for premium audio. There’s no firm dates or availability yet for the new Samsung QLED 8K TV models for Malaysia yet, but we’ll keep you in the know!
