This SEVENFRIDAY M3/01 Spaceship timepiece is out of this world

Externally, the M3/01 Spaceship bears a squarish looking visage with a watch case hewn of stainless steel with a PVD gunmetal finish and a modest 3ATM of water resistance that helps it survive against the odd splash of water or rain though it’s not intended for a dip in the pool, mind. The matching straps bear a similarly polished looking black aesthetic and are made of a combination of silicone and calf leather that looks suitably dashing befitting the stature of a starship captain.

The watch dial of the M3/01 Spaceship is sheathed in anti-reflective mineral glass for easy viewing even under challenging conditions; necessary when hordes of angry aliens are shooting at you and you need to tell the time.

The heart of the M3/01 Spaceship is built around a Miyota 8215 automatic movement embellished with a multi-layered series of metal discs finished in black, gray and gunmetal that are then secured in place with six gunmetal hued screws to create a very unique looking watch face. At a glance, you’re able to take in the date, time and second via a numeric readout on the 9 ‘o’clock position of the watch face.
To ensure authenticity, the stainless steel caseback is embedded with an NFC chip and a distinct serial number that shows up if you check it at any SEVENFRIDAY retailer or via their Android app. Fortunately, the watch doesn’t cost as much as an actual starship at RM5,215 inclusive of GST.
