Song Ji-hyo from Running Man series is coming to launch the Samsung Galaxy Note8
Samsung’s preorders for their titular Galaxy Note8 have ended though the official launch of the phone will be happening next week on 21 September at Pavilion mall in Bukit Bintang. Naturally, the launch of Samsung’s latest magnum opus isn’t without sufficient fanfare as they are flying in Running Man star Song Ji-hyo to grace the launch of the Galaxy Note8 in Malaysia.
Song Ji-hyo maintains an ardent following around the world and has been called ‘the Goddess of Luck’ by fans. When she arrives at the Note8 launch, she will be showcasing the phablet’s Live Message function live to the crowd. This is the second time a star from Korea’s popular Running Man show has graced Malaysia with Lee Kwang-soo dropping by Malaysia last year to launch the Galaxy S7 Edge at KLCC.
The Galaxy Note8 is the latest successor to their line of large phablets and has a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display with 1,440 x 2,960 pixel resolution, twin rear cameras with optical image stabilisation and their signature S Pen stylus to jot down notes and more. In Malaysia, it will retail for RM3,999 and come in Midnight Black, Maple Gold and Orchid Gray.
