Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite gets you a Snapdragon 732G chip and a 90Hz display for RM1,199
Xiaomi will be rolling out another affordable circa-RM1K phone for Malaysia that they’ve dubbed as the Mi 11 Lite which sims to add in big specs for a modest amount of cash.
The hardware in the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite looks fairly respectable. Up front, you get a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate as well as 10-bit TrueColor support for smooth colour transition between different hues onscreen.
The screen is also sheathed in Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for a modicum of protection from dents and drops. Unlike many midrange phones, they’re tossing in stereo speakers with too.
Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 732G processor paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. A 6GB RAM/64GB version does exist but won’t be appearing in our market.
On the imaging front, the phone has a rear triple camera array with a primary 64MP camera, an 8MP ultra wide angle camera and a 5MP telemacro camera. The front packs a 16MP selfie camera.
Keeping the Mi 11 Lite powered is a 4,250mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. One thing to note is that the Mi 11 Lite lacks 5G and sticks to 4G connectivity.
