Death Stranding Director’s Cut coming to PS5 this 24 September for RM209
Hideo Kojima’s quaint gaming masterpiece is now getting a superior, remastered version for those keen on yomping their way across America in a virtual fashion as the Death Stranding Director’s Cut will be plodding its way to the PS5 this 24 September for RM209.
The Death Stranding Director’s Cut will add new weapons, equipment, vehicles, new modes, missions and areas, an expanded storyline and some tweaks to the UI. The new content has been carefully integrated from the ground up into the existing game and all the prior introduced cross-game content from Half Life and Cyberpunk 2077 will be available in the Director’s Cut.
One of the key features of Death Stranding is the ability to help other players across different games by building structures in the game like bridges and roads to make travel easier and this is carried over into the Death Stranding Director’s Cut as PS4 save data will port over seamlessly to the PS5.
Content aside, the game will take advantage of the PS5’s enhanced hardware with haptic feedback from the DualSense wireless controller, enhanced adaptive trigger resistance when interacting with in-world objects, 3D Audio effects with compatible headphones and your choice of either up upscaled 4K at 60fps in Performance mode or Fidelity Mode in native 4K in ultra-wide and HDR.
