Acer unveils latest line-up of all-in-ones, monitors and notebooks in Malaysia
Acer Malaysia is ringing in 2018 with a massive array of offerings across the spectrum that range from spanking new all-in-ones all to way to the latest gaming notebooks that are slated to arrive this month or have just recently hit stores in Malaysia. Many of the new range boast of Coffee Lake CPUs and many of their latest gaming notebook the Nitro 5 integrates the new Ryzen 7 2700U processor. Acer Aspire S24 All-In-One Desktop

One of the newest offerings that Acer had to showcase was the Acer Aspire S24 All-in-One desktop. The Aspire S24 is one of Acer’s slimmest desktops ever made with the monitor display itself a mere 5.97mm thin while boasting of 2.7mm thin bezels and a 90% screen to body ratio ensconcing the 23.8-inch Full HD display.
While the S24 is a slim affair, it’s also packing some rather respectable hardware too in the form of an 8th generation Intel Core i5 8250U processor, integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620, 8GB DDR4 RAM and a storage combo that consists of a 128GB M.2 SSD paired with a 1TB hard disk. The base of the Aspire S24 also has a Qi wireless charger, allowing for it to juice up your devices that support wireless charging. The whole affair also ships with a free wireless keyboard and mouse for RM4,399.
Acer ED242QRA monitor
Designed with an entertainment oriented bent, the Acer ED242QRA has a 23.6-inch Full HD VA panel with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a gentle 1800R curve for immersive viewing. The monitor also has FreeSync tech for refresh rates up to 144Hz and also has a 4ms response time in additoin to their BluelightShield and ComfyView tech for easy viewing. The ED242QRA retails for RM799.
Acer EB321HQUB monitor
This humongous 31.5-inch monitor has WQHD resolution and is capable of displaying up to 1.07 billion colours onscreen while a 100,000,000:1 contrast ratio gives you exquisitely deep blacks and brilliant whites onscreen. It even has a pair of 3W speakers for you to get the party started early. Like Acer’s other monitor offerings it has their BluelightShield tech to make it easier on the eyes. It retails for RM1,099.
Acer Nitro 5
This refreshed Acer notebook has a revamped textured exterior and wrist rest with a sutble crossweave pattern that repels fingerprints as well as packing an AMD Ryzen 7 2700U processor paired with an AMD Radeon RX560X with 4GB GDDR5 RAM. The 15.6-inch panel has Full HD resolution and the Nitro 5 also has 8GB DDR4 RAM, a 128GB SSD and a 1TB SATA hard disk.
There’s no price tag yet but it’s slated to arrive sometime in March. There is also a revamped Nitro 5 variant currently available in the market that comes with an Intel Core i5-7300HQ processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX1050 graphics and a 1TB hard disk for RM3,099.
