Asus Zenbook 14 OLED UX3405 with Intel Core Ultra coming soon to Malaysia
When a new processor rolls around such as the new Intel Core Ultra series aka Meteor Lake, it becomes a race for every laptop brand as they scramble to bring it to market as fast as possible to beat the competition.
In that regard, Asus has a head start as they’ve just announced that they’re shipping the new Zenbook 14 OLED UX3405 in the near future this month in December 2023. Seeing its model number, it’s safe to say that it’s a sibling of the Zenbook 14 OLED UX3404 launched earlier this year that’s been upgraded though it’s hard to say until we get the official specifications.
Asus Zenbook 14 OLED UX3405 details
Powering the new Asus Zenbook 14 OLED UX3405 laptop will be the Intel Core Ultra mobile processor. To wit, the new Intel Meteor Lake is a mobile-chipset that won’t be making it to desktops and is the first commercially available chip built on the Intel 4 process that’s effectively a 4nm node and notably is 40% more efficient in power management overall while packing an integrated GPU that’s rated to be twice as fast as their previous Iris Xe graphics.
Other specifications on the new laptop and Intel’s chip are scarce save that the laptop will be just 1.2kg in weight with a 14.9mm thin profile, have MIL-STD-810H rated durability, a redesigned Asus ErgoSense keyboard and will have a 3K 120Hz ASUS Lumina OLED display. It will also be Intel Evo rated which means that it will meet specific standards on battery life, start-up time and performance. Stay tuned for updates as we get them from Asus!
