Axiata Digital Capital and Great Eastern collaboration to offer insurtech solutions online in Malaysia

Axiata Digital Capital and Great Eastern have sealed a strategic alliance to offer customisable insurance and takaful products for consumers, entrepreneurs and SMEs that is fully digital via the Aspirasi platform under Axiata Digital.

The alliance between Axiata Digital Capital and Great Eastern is the first insurtech alliance between a digital financial services platform and an insurance and takaful provider in order to offer a seamless and convenient means of accessing insurance and takaful products online. The various insurance and takaful products being offered are being underwritten by Great Eastern Life Assurance (Malaysia) Berhad, Great Eastern General Insurance (Malaysia) Berhad and Great Eastern Takaful Berhad in Malaysia. These offerings are also available in Indonesia as well.

The offerings of this new strategic partnership include a cornucopia of insurance and takaful products that include life and health insurance, personal accident insurance and more with premiums starting from RM1.50 and IDR5,000 and up.
