Diablo Immortal Closed Beta launches today in selected regions
When it comes to gameloops, few make it as addictive as it is with Diablo’s hack-and-loot mechanics which have seen it go across three incarnations on console and PC and it’s now making its way to mobile in the form of Diablo Immortal. While news has been scarce, the Diablo Immortal Closed Beta has been announced to launch today though it is only available in selected countries so far.
Where is the Diablo Immortal Closed Beta available?
The Diablo Immortal Closed Beta was originally available in Canada and Australia but it will soon see servers opening in Korea, Japan and China. Alas, Malaysia isn’t quite on the list just yet but one can hope it will happen in the future.
The latest Diablo Immortal Closed Beta features The Necromancer who returns from his original debut in Diablo II who creates effects on the dead lying around the battlefield to create minions and generate damage and debuffs on the enemy.
Other updates in the game include a PvP and PvE system that also includes a 30 x1 battle called Challenge of the Immortal. The closed beta also features a preview of controller support for the game.
Beta test players can also enjoy optional in-game purchases but any player progress will be wiped at the end of the Closed Beta and purchases will be turned into in-game credits when Diablo Immortal is launched. You can check out the official blog update here.
