Klipsch T5 II True Wireless earbuds brings added comfort and performance from RM899
The original Klipsch T5 true wireless earbuds blended excellent audio quality and one of the most comfortable earbuds on the planet in a compact Zippo style casing.
While it’s hard to improve on excellence, Klipsch have managed to do so as they’ve issued an upgraded successor dubbed the T5 II True Wireless Sports Earphones that also come in a unique Sports variant and an extremely gorgeous looking Mclaren edition with signature bright orange livery.

The base model T5 II True Wireless adds a number of enhancements over its predecessor, chief among them better signal quality and comfort.
Klipsch managed to get better signal quality by moving the antenna that communicates with your paired devices outside of the ear buds to minimise interference while thinning the diaphragm of the 5mm dynamic moving coil micro speakers down to 3 microns (down from 3.2 microns) in order to ensure better audio clarity.
They’ve also made the earbuds slightly more compact by making the battery denser and more powerful. The denser, more powerful battery means that the ear buds are able to offer 8 hours of use and up to 24 hours with the charging case which is substantial indeed.
On top of the redesigned earbuds, the charging case itself has also been made slightly slimmer too to make it even easier to pocket while retaining its ability to be opened one-handed in the fashion of a Zippo lighter. One thing to note though is that the ear buds are rated IP67 for water and dust resistance but the charging case is not.
The T5 II True Wireless also offers twice as many swappable ear tip options out of the box by offering half-sized variants for a total of six possible options in order to offer the best comfort possible.
According to Klipsch’s engineers, this is to accommodate users who may have asymmetrical ear canals with the new half sizes ensuring a much better fit. This is on top of Klipsch’s patented oval-shaped ear tips that have remained the most comfortable to wear that we’ve ever encountered. You can acquire the T5 II True Wireless in your choice of either Gunmetal or Silver for RM899.
Klipsch T5 II True Wireless Sport earbuds
Where the T5 II True Wireless is intended for more sedate listening by urban commuters, the T5 II True Wireless Sport variant is intended for sportsmen and more rigorous applications. Not only are the earbuds IP67 water resistant but the case is too.
To accommodate the fact that users may possibly insert damp earbuds into the case, Klipsch has managed to ingeniously cram in a small removable insert filled silica gel beads to wick away moisture. These inserts can be microwaved to dry them out again and after several such procedures, which ought to be several years, you can purchase replacement silica gel bead inserts. The case itself also supports wireless charging.
Another addition unique to the T5 II True Wireless Sport is the addition of wing ear tips for a more secure fit in the ear. That aside, it has similar battery life and an identical 5mm dynamic moving coil micro speaker driver design. The price is a bit higher though at RM1,099.
Klipsch T5 II True Wireless Sport Mclaren Edition earbuds
The most aesthetically striking variant of the new range, this particular collaboration is essentially an upgraded T5 II True Wireless Sport with Mclaren livery that provides it with a striking black and orange paint job along with matching orange ear tips and black-trimmed ear wings. They also throw in a free wireless charging pad with the package. All this clocks in at RM1,199.
