OnePlus 10T 5G with super fast 150W charging coming to Malaysia
Mention the name OnePlus to any smartphone aficionado worth their salt and the name would likely be greeted with some level of reverence as their phones are typically hallmarks for value and are known for their snappy OxygenOS firmware. Now, one of their latest flagships, the OnePlus 10T 5G is slated to make an appearance in Malaysia this coming 1st September 2022.
What is the OnePlus 10T 5G?
For Malaysia, OnePlus will only be deploying the 10T in one configuration only which is the highest end variant. In terms of hardware, the OnePlus 10T 5G comes with a brace of specifications that are impressive indeed that allow it to go toe to toe with other flagships. You get a 6.7-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2,412 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate sheathed in Corning Gorilla Glass 5 up front with a tiny punch hole for a 16MP selfie camera.
Running under the hood is the latest Android 12 overlaid with their own OxygenOS 12.1 on a cutting edge Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor paired with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of USF 3.1 storage. One thing to note is that the phone is slated to get an update to their next OxygenOS 13 firmware in the near future along with a guaranteed three major Android updates and four years of security updates.
The rear features a 50MP primary camera with OIS and a Sony IMX766 sensor, a secondary 8MP ultra wide angle camera and a 2MP depth sensor with the ability to take up to 4K video. Keeping it powered is a 4,800mAh battery with 150W SuperVOOC charging support with a full charge from dead zero in just 19 minutes which is ludicrously fast by any measure of the word.
