Affordable OPPO A92 and slick Enco W31 true wireless headphones ready for preorders
OPPO Malaysia has added two new additions to their line-up of affordable kit this year with their new OPPO A92 smartphone as well as their new Enco W31 true wireless headphones that are now up for preorders in Malaysia. The OPPO A92 is an affordable workhorse smartphone that comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD resolution Neo display that has svelte 1.73mm bezels all around and a tiny punchhole in the upper left corner for the 16-MP selfie camera. Of particular note is that it has a pair of stereo speakers, a feature that’s rare in phones at this price range, to offer extra sonic oomph for movies and gaming. Unlike its sibling the A91, the A92 eschews an under-display fingerprint reader for a side-mounted model.
The rest of the hardware consists of a solid Snapdragon 665 octacore processor that’s paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage with the phone running Android 10.1 on their ColorOS 7.1 overlay. On the back, the phone has an increasingly familiar square-shaped quad camera array with a primary 48-MP F/1.7 camera, a secondary 8-MP 119-degree ultra wide angle camera as well as a tertiary 2-MP macro camera and 2-MP mono lens.
The rear is capable of 4K video bolstered by judder-free EIS anti-shake tech while the front 16-MP selfie camera is capable of Full HD video capture . Continuing their theme of offering affordable workhorse kit, OPPO’s Enco W31 true wireless headphones offer a ton of features for a modest asking price. Crammed into a hockey-puck style charging and carrying case are a pair of earbuds upholstered with cushy silicon eartips and 7mm graphene diaphragms for superior sound reproduction as well as AAC and SBC codec support.
The Enco W31 headphones pair up with your smartphone or other kit via Bluetooth 5.0 and offer binaural connectivity so that both earbuds get the same audio signal from a source to minimise lag. The OPPO Enco is available for RM259 but you can get it for a special promotion price of RM199 if you purchase it before the 8th of May at all the same retail channels as the OPPO A92.
