Samsung lauded as world’s No.1 global TV manufacturer for 16 years running
When it comes to innovation, it’s hard to top the exceptional lead that Samsung has when it comes to their TVs with the brand pioneering a host of the latest tech including QLED tech and of late, the latest Neo QLED 8K TVs.
Now, they’ve been lauded by market research firm Omdia as the world’s No. 1 global TV manufacturer with 19.8% of market share, making it 16 consecutive years running that Samsung has earned this prestigious honour as the world’s largest global TV manufacturer. We’ve also had the privilege of covering last year’s award as well.
Samsung hasn’t been one to rest on their laurels and on top of creating cutting edge visual tech, they’ve innovated with panels that have no screen burn-in, which also had the serendipitous benefit of allowing them to create more unusual form factors like The Frame TVs and the Sero.
For 2022, Samsung will be spearheading their latest Neo QLED 8K TVs that are slated for arrival in Malaysia in the near future alongside new innovations like The Freestyle smart projector and a global alignment in sustainability not just in packaging but materials in product creation as well.
