New United TX3000 and TX1800 electric bikes coming to Malaysia via Artroniq and United E-Motor team-up
Artroniq Bhd has teamed up with Indonesian e-motor brand United E-Motor to bring the new TX3000 and TX1800 electric bikes to Malaysia with both models showcased in a recent launch at Pavilion Bukit Jalil.
TX3000 and TX1800 e-bike highlights
The TX3000 electric vehicle has a sleek aerodynamic design that has a top speed of 90 km/h off its 4.2kW electric motor with three selectable speed modes.
The dual lithium 1.72 kWh batteries offer a maximum range of up to 120 km per charge if you use both its batteries with the second one stored in reserve in the trunk under the bike seat. The batteries require 4 hours of charging time to go from 0 to 80%
The e-bike also has built-in Bluetooth connectivity along with a USB port and FM radio paired with a digital display and, of note, a U-Key app that pairs with the bike itself for diagnostics, firing up an SOS, remote ignition and, particularly handy for the absent minded – a bike locator.
In Malaysia, planned colourway choices consist of five options which are Black Sapphire, Grey matte, Milano Red, Golden Yellow and White Pearl.
Also debuting at the same time as the TX3000 is the more mainstream TX1800 which has a 2kW electric motor with a rated maximum speech of 75 kph and a maximum range of up to 65 km off its single 1.672kWh battery which has fast charging capabilities to go from 0 to 80% in just 1.5 hours.
Like the TX3000, the TX1800 also has three speed modes, an LCD display, Bluetooth connectivity and integration with the U-Key app. The TX1800 does have more colour choices with the addition of a Blue Electric paint job in addition to the five offered colours that come with the TX3000.
At present, there’s no official prices yet for both the TX3000 and TX1800 e-bikes though Artroniq Chief Financial Executive Marcus Chin said that the price will be revealed on December 24 2023. You can check out United E-Motor’s official product page for the TX3000 here.
