Acer Swift Go 14 and Predator Triton Neo 16 laptops with Intel Core Ultra CPUs unleashed
Fresh off Intel’s announcement of Intel Core Ultra CPUs, Acer has announced that they’re releasing an ultraportable as well as a gaming laptop that feature these new chipsets dubbed the Acer Swift Go 14 and the Predator Triton Neo 16. This is fresh off their recent Dubai announcement of a carbon neutral Vero 16 laptop and even luggage too which makes for an impressive product portfolio for 2024.
Acer Swift Go 14 specs
The Acer Swift Go 14 will feature up to a 14-inch 2.8K (2,880 x 1,800 pixels) resolution non-touch OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3.
The Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor will have Intel Evo certification and Intel AI boost support, Intel Arc graphics and will have a host of AI-powered features unique to Acer laptops such as Acer PurifiedVoice and Acer PurifiedView for clear videos and audio during video calls on the 1440p QHD webcam.
Other mod-cons include up to 12.5 hours of battery life as well as WiFi 6E and Bluetooth LE Audio. The laptop itself will weigh 1.32kg and will be 14.9mm thin with a touchpad made of ocean-sourced plastic dubbed as OceanGlass.
A variant also exists with a WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200 pixels( display with touchscreen. According to Acer it will arrive in the US next year in January with a price starting from USD799.99 and EMEA from EUR 1,199. At the time of writing, there is no official pricing or launch dates for Malaysia.
Predator Triton Neo 16 specs
Gamers looking to get an Intel Core Ultra powered gaming laptop will love what the Predator Triton Neo 16 has to offer. The new gaming rig will feature a 16-inch 3.2K display that is Calman-verified and has a 165Hz refresh rate as well as Nvidia Advanced Optimus and Nvidia G-Sync technology.
Powering the laptop will be the latest Intel Core Ultra H-series processor with a dedicated AI engine paired with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU with Nvidia DLSS 3.5 tech for AI-optimised visuals on ray-traced gaming and apps along with Nvidia Studio Drivers.
Keeping all this hefty hardware cool is a 5th Gen Aeroblade 3D fan with liquid thermal grease on the CPU and vector heat pipes to offset airflow.
In terms of pricing, the Predator Triton Neo 16 will be available from March 2024 in the USA first starting from USD1,499.99 and EMEA from EUR1,799. There’s no official pricing just yet for Malaysia nor a launch date but we’ll keep you posted.
