Digi’s new Video Freedom passes unlock a worry free video watching buffet

For Malaysians, having enough data to last the month ranks right up there next to oxygen and decent nasi lemak. If you’re one to hoard data like a miser and skip the visceral pleasures of enjoying iFlix or YouTube on the go to ensure that you have enough data to last the month, you’re in luck as Digi has just announced their new Video Freedom passes.

The passes are add-ons for Digi users with an internet plan that come in hourly and daily denominations. The Hourly pass costs RM3 and offers about 3GB of data for video streaming for an hour while the daily pass costs RM10 and gives you 10GB of video streaming goodness for 24 hours. For a limited time only, you can enjoy the Hourly pass for a mere RM1 and the Daily pass for RM5.

The video streaming services that you can enjoy with the Video Freedom pass are YouTube, iFlix, Astro-On-The-Go, Tonton, Viu, Dailymotion and HyppTV Everywhere though more services will be added later on. As for the quality of video, you can enjoy it at any resolution with the Hourly Pass and at 480p for the Daily Pass.
