Sleek HP Spectre x360 convertible and OMEN Transcend 14 gaming laptop with Intel Core Ultra CPUs now in Malaysia
HP has just launched a veritable cornucopia of laptops powered by the new Intel Core Ultra processors enabled with AI across a host of use cases. At a gala launch, HP Elite 1000 series G11 laptops, a wide range of EliteBook series notebooks, HP ProBook series, ZBook series and more.
We took a quick gander at the two most interesting designs out of the line-up: a refreshed HP Spectre x360 14 convertible as well as the notable addition of their OMEN Transcend 14 gaming laptop that’s currently the lightest and coolest 14-inch gaming laptop currently in the market.
HP Spectre x360 14 Specs and Price
The refreshed HP Spectre x360 14 convertible hosts a 14-inch 2.8K OLED touch display set on 360-degree hinges, allowing it to deploy from the usual laptop clamshell configuration into a display or into a Windows tablet on demand when you flip the display all the way around.
The HP Spectre x360 14 packs an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor, 32GB LPDDR5x RAM, Intel Arc graphics and a 1TB SSD shoehorned into a chassis that weighs just 1.44kg and is a svelte 16.9mm thin.
Keeping the HP Spectre x360 14 powered is a quad-cell 68Wh Li-ion battery with a quoted battery life of up to 17 hours of video playback that’s juiced by a 65W USB Type-C charger.

HP OMEN Transcend 14 Specs and Price
Mention a gaming laptop and what immediately comes to mind is a massive behemoth that likely needs a forklift to haul about but the latest addition to HP’s OMEN series gaming laptops – theHP Omen Transcend 14 is a surprising offering as it’s currently the world’s coolest – in a literal sense of it having superior built-in cooling capabilities under load – and world’s lightest gaming laptop at just 1.6kg.
Shoehorned within its 14-inch chassis is a matching 2.8K 120Hz VRR OLED IMAX Enhanced display, the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU cooled by a new OMEN Tempest Cooling Go cooling design that leverages hyperbaric cooling technology for superior sustained gaming performance.
The design also features up to 32GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to a 2TB SSD for storage.
