Illegear concept showroom launched alongside Laguna SE gaming notebook
When you buy a laptop off the shelf these days, you’re mostly stuck with a predefined configuration from the manufacturer though Malaysian bespoke brand Illegear aims to upend that notion as you’re able to tweak almost every bit of your desired notebook before you click the buy button.
Now, Illegear has taken the next step as they have just opened their first concept showroom in Malaysia where you can experience their most powerful hardware before you buy at Oval Damansara.
Formed in 2011, Illegear has established a reputation among gamers keen for a rig built to their exact specifications. The new Illegear concept showroom has a complete line-up of their newest and latest notebooks including their best selling Raven, Prodigy and Rogue series notebooks and the new Laguna SE notebook that prospective buyers can see, feel and touch before committing to a purchase.
The Illegear concept showroom at Oval Damansara also has a dedicated after-sales service sales center for repairs and other maintenance needs.

Illegear Laguna SE notebook revealed
The launch of the showroom was also an opportunity for Illegear to showcase their new Laguna SE gaming laptop that aims to be both light and powerful. Externally, it comes with a matte black finish trimmed in gold and is exceptionally slim with a 21mm thin chassis while weighing 1.9kg.
The Laguna SE sports a 15.6-inch Full HD sRGB display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 9th gen Intel i7-9750H processor, up to an NVIDIA RTX 2070 8GB GPU, 8GB DDR4 RAM upgradable to 32GB, a 512GB NVME PCIe M.2 SSD upgrade to a 6GB SSD, a three-zone backlit keyboard and weighs 1.9kg. The price naturally varies depending on what configuration you kit it out in but prices start from RM5,984.
