New Infinix NOTE 50 Pro+ 5G phone with DeekSeek-R1 AI coming to Malaysia
Infinix will be bringing their NOTE 50 Pro+ 5G phone which has an aerospace-grade aluminium chassis and integration with DeekSeek-R1 AI baked-in to Malaysia this coming 22 April 2025.
For the uninitiated, the Infinix NOTE 50 Pro+ 5G has a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, has 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage.
The rear comes with a triple camera array that consists of a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS and 3x zoom and an 8MP ultra wide angle camera. Up front, you get a single 32MP camera for selfies. Keeping the phone powered is a 5,200mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging.
Of note is that the chassis uses what Infinix refers to as Ultra-Resilient ArmorAlloy to create a tough metal frame that relies on an integrated metal die casting process to reduce structural weight by 10%.
The phone also has their own FOlax AI agent that helps with the usual slew of AI related tasks for phones of late including the ability to record summaries of meetings and lectures in real time, translate text captured with the camera and an AI writing assistant to refine text.
