Kao Together for Tomorrow Roadshow at IPC celebrates 50 years of comfort, care and beauty in Malaysia
As one of the most established household brands in Malaysia, Kao offers a host of offerings under their diverse umbrella of products ranging from their signature Bioré beauty products all the way to their Merries brand diapers, Magiclean cleaning products and Attack washing detergents too.
To celebrate their rich legacy of offering comfort, care and beauty products to Malaysians for over 50 years, Kao has kicked off their special Kao Together for Tomorrow Roadshow that’s taking place at Ikano Power Center (IPC) from now until 9th July 2023.
What is the Kao Together for Tomorrow Roadshow
The roadshow showcases the wide range of products that Kao offers along with demonstrations of their sustainability initiatives as well as interactive and educational activities for visitors too.
Underlying Kao’s positive initiatives in environmental, social and corporate governance is their corporate philosophy of ‘the Kao Way’ which has been refined for the future with their refreshed ‘Kirei Lifestyle Plan’ that aims to do good for customers, communities and the world.
Kao is also collaborating with NGOs including the Biji-Biji Initiative and ImpactLution as part of their Kirei Lifestyle initiative.
In Kao’s collaboration with ImpactLution, the brand aims to reduce the environmental footprint of their products across the entire product life cycle via a comprehensive study of the potential impact their products have on the environment in every way from materials used to final disposal.
“We are very excited to be kicking off our 50th anniversary celebrations with the Together for Tomorrow roadshow at IPC from the 4th to the 9th of July. This roadshow is not only a representation of everything that the Kirei Lifestyle stands for but will also serve as an education touchpoint and invitation for Kao customers present and future to join us on this journey of making life beautiful together,” said Mr Nishimaki Akira, President of Kao Malaysia.
“The coming months will shape up to be very substantive for us at Kao Malaysia as we take further steps in incorporating action points in our Kirei Lifestyle ESG strategy – chief achievements among which includes achieving Zero Waste and championing girls’ and womens’ empowerment in particular with the ongoing KAO School of Confidence empowered by Bioré, Liese and Laurier,” said Mr. Nishimaki.
“With the guidance of our Kirei Lifestyle Plan, we aim to develop out business, provide better products and services for consumers and society so that we may together create a beautiful life, today and beyond,” added Mr. Nishimaki.
