Lazada x Realme Super Brand Day sets sales records in Malaysia
Realme Malaysia is one of the youngest smartphone companies in the market but they’re making strides as their blend of affordable hardware are striking a note in Malaysians. Their recent Lazada x Realme Super Brand Day sales last month on 27 February netted them a host of record-breaking streaks.
According to Realme Malaysia, the one-day sale netted them an 800% uplift on orders for their Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro and Realme C1 phones, saw them getting 8,000 new followers on their official online store and creation over 233,000 impressions on social media. That’s quite an impressive feat indeed.
“We are delighted to have set a new record in partnership with Lazada for the Lazada
x Realme Super Brand Day, with Realme 2 and Realme 2 Pro phones sold out. The
amazing results of our smartphones speak volumes for the increasing popularity of
Realme and reflects consumers demands for affordable, stylish yet powerful mobile
devices,” said Tiffany Teh, Brand Manager, Realme Malaysia.
“Realme has cultivated a strong following amongst our shoppers, establishing itself
as a preferred smartphone brand in Malaysia for young people. The Realme
Malaysia Flagship store on LazMall has allowed Realme to engage directly with
consumers, helping the brand to grow its business and extending its reach by
leveraging on Lazada’s large customer base. Lazada x Realme Super Brand Day
has proven to be a great success and we look forward to achieving greater heights
with Realme,” said Sherry Tan, Chief Business Officer, Lazada Malaysia.
