LG debuts their first 48-inch LG OLED C1 TV in Malaysia

LG Electronics has rolled out their lusciously vibrant 48-inch LG 4K OLED C1 TV in Malaysia that hits the sweet spot in terms of size as it’s just big enough for plonking on your desktop and has features that make it ideal for both gaming and entertainment duties alike.

For the uninitiated , the LG OLED C1 TV, also designated by the model number OLED48C1PTB  is a part of their 2021 TV line-up and features their Alpha α9 Gen4 AI processor that offers excellent AI Picture Pro upscaling for content, the better to enjoy it on its expansive 48-inch 4K OLED panel that has a 120Hz refresh rate and what 100 million self-lit pixels on the display, allowing for superior black reproduction, 100% colour fidelity as what the creator intended.

The 48-inch LG OLED C1 TV is also fantastic for gaming as it has a 120Hz refresh rate, a 1ms response time and the enviable benefit of having both NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium certification. The TV also features 2.2ch 40W front-firing speakers to turn it into quite an entertainment maestro.

Ahead of its imminent arrival in Malaysia, the 48-inch OLED C1 TV was showcased at the Home Design & Interior Exhibition (HomeDec) recently at KLCC to get an up-close look at the TV. As yet, LG Malaysia has not mentioned how much the TV officially costs or when it will arrive in Malaysia just yet though it does appear on their local site.

Oddly enough, two intrepid retailers have already posted the price of the 48-inch OLED C1 TV on Shopee which is RM6,499 which was discovered after plonking in the model number of the TV  though it does not appear on Lazada. We’ll keep you posted on official announcements when they appear.
