LG UltraGear Gaming Monitor with 240Hz refresh rate aims to dominate the game
Any seasoned gamer worth their salt can never have enough screen real estate and the bigger the display the better but the new 49-inch LG UltraGear Gaming Monitor is somewhat over the top as it’s wide enough to be the equivalent of two 16:9 aspect ratio monitors side by side while rocking a 240Hz refresh rate.
What is the LG UltraGear Gaming Monitor
The LG UltraGear Gaming Monitor features an ultrawide 32:9 aspect ratio, a gentle 1000R curvature and also has Dual QHD resolution (5,120 x 1,440 pixels) along with a 3,000:1 contrast ratio, 1000-nit peak brightness and a decent 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut to allow it to tackle both games and paperwork with equal ability.
Multitasking is a cinch with picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture modes and allows users to hook up a second connected device for a simultaneous feed with your choice of two HDMI 2.1 ports and a DisplayPort 1.4 connector.
There’s no official price or availability yet for Malaysia from LG though it will be deployed sometime this month in Europe.
