L’Oréal Malaysia showcase reveals Create the Beauty that Moves the World movement

In a grand event to invited guests in downtown Kuala Lumpur, L’Oréal Malaysia revealed their first-ever corporate showcase which highlighted their vision to ‘Create the Beauty that Moves the World’.

What this means is a long-term series of brand and company initiatives by L’Oréal that empower and establish beauty as an inclusive, diverse, empowering and responsible force in order to bring about positive changes across the world, the environment as well as in communities and people too.

According to L’Oréal, the group is also looking to accelerate their transformation towards sustainability and inclusion with a selection of sustainability targets to be achieved by 2023.

Among the moonshot goals that  L’Oréal is aiming for are carbon neutrality at all their sites by using 100% renewable energy by 2025, to have 100% of the plastics used in their packaging to be recycled or from bio-based sources and to reduce the group’s greenhouse gas emissions by 50% per finished product by 2030 compared to 2016’s results and more. Another key area of emphasis as part of their L’Oréal ‘s Create the Beauty that Moves the World movement is a commitment by all of their brands to make positive changes in the area of sustainability, social issues and empowerment of women.

In Malaysia, these 12 key brands are part of the change – journey: L’Oréal Professionnel Paris, L’Oréal Paris, La Roche Posay, Garnier, Maybelline New York, Lancôme, Yves Saint Laurent Beaute, Armani Beauty, Kiehl’s, shu uemura, IT Cosmetics and Kérastase.
