Media launch of Huawei nova 5T slated this coming 27 August
Huawei’s anticipated phone the nova 5T is slated to make its global debut at KL Fashion Week 2019 that will take place this coming Sunday on 25 August but the brand has put word out now that they will be conducting an official media launch of the phone on 27 August in Malaysia.
There is precious little details of what the Huawei nova 5T has in terms of hardware and specifications though there is plenty of speculation. Seeing as the Huawei nova series is intended as an affordable alternative to their flagship P-series phones, the nova 5T will likely have specs equal to or likely below what a P30 phone would have.
Seeing as the nova series phones also aren’t usually known for purpose specific designs such as having a larger than usual display or prioritising battery life over other concerns, it’s likely the nova 5T would maintain a more balanced outlook. According to GizmoChina, the nova 5T will have a punchhole display in the upper left corner of its 6.26-inch display with a Kirin 980 processor with 8GB storage and either 128GB or 256GB storage. According to GizmoChina, the rear will possibly have a (48-MP+16-MP+2-MP+2-MP) and a front-facing selfie camera.
There’s not long to wait now and we’ll be onsite at the media preview this coming 25 August at KL Fashion Week 2019 to find out more on what the Huawei nova 5T’s exact specifications would be, what colour choices are available and, hopefully, how much it will cost and when it will hit store shelves in Malaysia. Seeing as this is KL Fashion Week, this will most likely involve a fashion catwalk featuring the phone rather than an up-close look but we’ll glean what we can from the show.
The upcoming media launch on 27 August will likely allow us to get a much closer look at the phone and ultimately confirm its specifications.
