MSI Prestige 13 AI+ EVO and Summit series laptops with Copilot+ and Intel Core Ultra series 2 CPUs now in Malaysia; prices start from RM6,599
MSI has just introduced their latest Prestige series and Summit series laptops that both pack the latest Intel Core Ultra series 2 processors along with Copilot+ support. The new Intel processors offer three times more TOPS and integrate both the RAM, GPU and CPU as one unit to offer up to 120 total platform TOPS of AI performance.

For the uninitiated, the MSI Prestige series are their premier ultraportable productivity laptops and the new generation will have longer battery life, an upgraded 5MP webcam and, of course, enhanced Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processors across the board along with Microsoft Copilot+ capabilities.
For the Malaysia market, MSI will be offering the Prestige 13, 14 and 16 models each of which respectively indicates its screen size in inches though only the 13-inch model is now available with the 14 and 16 available near the tail end of December and are on preorder
MSI Prestige 13 AI+ EVO laptop weighs just 990g
The MSI Prestige 13 AI+ EVO is now available in Malaysia priced at RM6,799. For your money, you’re getting a 13.3-inch 2.8K OLED display with 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, the aforementioned Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor running WIndows 11 Home, 32GB LPDDR5X integrated RAM, Intel Arc 140V GPU integrated graphics and a 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD. Other features include stereo speakers and a 4-cell Li-Polymer 75Wh battery with 65W USB-C fast charging. It’s also astoundingly light at just 990g for the whole affair.
Unlike the Prestige 13 AI+ EVO, the 14 and 16 inch variants are not available just yet but preorders can be made from 1 to 15 December 2024 with a free RM100 in TNG e-wallet credit.
The larger Prestige 16 AI+ EVO is priced at RM7,799 and has the same processor as the 13 -inch model along with the same 32GB RAM and Intel Arch 140V GPU as well as 1TB SSD but scales up the display to a 16-inch UHD+ (3,840 x 2,400 pixel) OLED panel with 100% DCI-P3 and a larger 99.9Whr battery with 100W USB-C PD 3.0 charging.
The Prestige 14 AI+ EVO is the goldilocks of the bunch with identical processors, RAM and storage as its other siblings but scales the display to a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 while sizing the battery to 90Wh with a 100W USB-C charger. This version retails for RM6,599.
MSI Summit 13 AI+ EVO
The MSI 13 AI+ EVO laptop has a 13.3-inch FHD+ IPS LCD touchscreen with 100% sRGB and stylus support along with a 360-degree hinge, an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor with Windows Home 11, 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, an integrated Intel Arc 140V GPU and a 1TB SSD.
Rounding things out are stereo speakers and a 70WHr battery with fast charging via a 65W Type-C charger. The webcam offers 1080p@30fps video with HDR and 3D noise reduction for video calls. In Malaysia, it is slated to arrive in late December 2024 though there’s no firm details on the price save that it will cost at least RM7,000 and up.
