The Neffos C7 selfie camphone is yours for RM599
Everyone loves a bargain and Neffos Malaysia seems keen to indulge us as they’ve just launched their selfie centric Neffos C7 camphone which retails for a modest RM599.
While Neffos’ parent brand TP-Link is best known for making routers, their smartphones have been steadily gaining ground as rather affordable offerings. The Neffos C7 follows its forebears in that regard with midrange hardware and a sub-RM600 price tag.
The casing is about 7.85mm thin and it comes with a 5.5-inch HD resolution display with 267ppi. Running under the hood is Android 7.0 on a MediaTek MT6750 1.5GHz processor paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. The front sports an 8-MP selfie camera while the rear has a 13-MP camera with PDAF. A fingerprint reader is also perched on the back of the phone. Of note is that the selfie camera apparently has a novel ‘Real-Time Beautify’ mode that has ten levels of aesthetic improvement with results immediately available onscreen to improve even the most aesthetically challenged mug.
Currently, the Neffos C7 is available in either Cloudy Grey or Sunrise Gold though Neffos is hinting that there may be a purplish Pantone-inspired Ultraviolet variant appearing later this year though they haven’t announced any launch dates. For more details swing by www.neffos.my
