Oppo launches entry level A37 budget selfie-centric phone for RM798
Oppo’s rolled out their latest budget phone that comes with a 5-inch HD display sheathed in 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The phone runs on a quad-core 1.2GHz processor running Android 5.1 and their own ColorOS 3.0 user interface. Keeping things chugging along is 2GB RAM, 16GB of expandable store and a 2,630mAh battery to keep the lights on. All this is crammed into a metal unibody casing that is 7.68mm thin while weighing 136g.
The rear comes with an 8-MP camera with a BSI sensor and an f/2.2 aperture while the front has a 5-MP selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture. A screen flash feature uses the front display as an ad hoc flash when taking selfies to brighten up your mugshots.
If things go south it has a Beautify mode that has seven levels of aesthetic beautification to turn Plain Jane or Normal Norman into something far more aesthetically pleasing. The phone also has a dedicated microSD card slot and two SIM card slots, both of which support LTE.
The A37 ships in a shade of Rose Gold or Gold at all authorised dealers nationwide in Malaysia for RM798. For more details swing by Oppo’s official website here.
