New midrange realme 14 series phones launched in Malaysia; prices start from RM1,199
If you’re looking for an affordable gaming-oriented phone, you’re in luck as realme has released their realme 14 series phones in Malaysia that consist of the base realme 14 and the realme 14 Pro, both of which vary from each other in a number of different ways including price tag.

The larger and pricier realme 14 Pro has a 6.77-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sample rate. Running under the hood is a Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset running Android 15 with realme 6.0 UI paired with 12GB RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage.
The rear has a rear dual camera array with a 50MP main camera with OIS and a secondary 2MP camera. For selfies, the phone has a 16MP camera.
Keeping the phone powered is a 6,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging. Of note with the realme 14 Pro is the introduction of a cold-sensitive colour-shifting design that starts off as Pearl White and which turns into a soothing ocean blue and a more conventional Suede Grey edition that offers sensuous tactility with a faux leather finish. Regardless, both realme 14 Pro colourways have an IP69 dust and water resistance rating.

The base realme 14 has a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, uses the slightly different Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor that also runs Android 15 and realme 6.0 UI and your choice of 256GB storage and either 8GB or 12GB RAM.
The rear sports a single 50MP camera with a 16MP selfie camera up front. The phone also has a similar 6,000mAh battery as the Pro model with 45W charging. Available colourways include Mecha Silver, Storm Titanium and Warrior Pink. Like the Pro, it also has an IP69 dust and water resistance rating.

In Malaysia, the realme 14 Pro 5G with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is available for RM1,499 while the 12GB RAM and 512Gb storage model is a Maxis postpaid exclusive that retails for RM1,799.
