The S7 edge’s battery is a 3,600mAh job that is non removable though it supports Fast Charging and has the corresponding charger out of the box. The phone managed to easily last through the day with moderately heavy use with texts, calls, social media and web browsing through the day with about 30% on the battery by sundown. Heavy gaming takes a toll on the battery by quite a bit though with half an hour of Freeblade draining a full charge by 10%. With the provided fast charger, this is a non-issue as long as you’re within reach of the mains and if not, the S7 edge also has its vaunted ‘Ultra power saving mode‘ that dials everything down to something akin to a feature phone to eke out amazing battery life measured in days. Unless you’re twiddling your thumbs gaming for a couple of hours in a row, you’ll easily enjoy more than a day of battery life on the phone.

With a powerful, highly capable camera, a beautiful design and one of the crispest displays on a phone, the Galaxy S7 edge is truly one of the most powerful, well designed, powerful and fully featured phones on the market and the finest that Samsung has ever made though this comes at quite a premium price tag.
