Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro price for Europe could be a rather high €229
The Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro will be Samsung’s next-generation wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation that will debut alongside the Galaxy S21 series next month in 2021 but a source has leaked a possible price for the former for the European market which is eye-watering to say the least.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro Price in Europe
According to SamMobile by way of Galaxy Club, the Galaxy Buds Pro will be released in Europe at a price tag of €229 which is about RM1,132 which is a price tag typically commanded by dedicated audio manufacturers like Sennheiser and Klipsch for their premium offerings.
When the Samsung Galaxy Buds+ were announced earlier this year at Unpacked 2020, they were rated to cost US$149. At its official debut in Malaysia it retailed for RM599. It’s also a good deal pricier than the Galaxy Buds Live that debuted a few short months ago at RM699.
The Galaxy Buds Pro price point is considered princely compared to its predecessors but it’s still squarely within price points for other premium earbuds with active noise cancellation in the market. A prior leak revealed what colour choices you can get at launch, the size of the batteries and what it looks like but not what its exact capabilities.
What has been gleaned so far is that it has improved active noise cancellation, a ‘Voice Detect’ mode that can reduce media playback volume when the earbuds hear your voice and ramp it up again when you’re as well as a ‘3D spatial audio’ feature.
As they say in show business, it isn’t over until someone sings so it’s best to take this Galaxy Buds Pro price leak with a grain of salt until Samsung Unpacked 2021 and an official price announcement. In any case, all will be revealed in a matter of weeks so it’s simply a matter of time.
