Samsung’s ultra luscious 88-inch QLED TV is yours for RM99,999
Samsung’s QLED TVs are now officially launched in Malaysia after making their global debut at CES 2017 and a regional appearance at Samsung’s SEA Forum 2017. The new QLED UHD TVs sport Samsung’s Quantum dot tech, essentially an improvement over their prior nano crystal tech by encapsulating each nano crystal dot on the panel in a metal alloy for 100% colour reproduction, better viewing angles and longer panel life. Also key to the QLED series TVs is a One Remote control that allows for users to effortlessly pair up and control an array of other connected devices to the TV so that you needn’t have to tote around half a dozen remote controls just to get it working.
For Malaysia, Samsung will be bringing in their QLED TVs in different sizes and in both flat and curved configurations along with a full range of sound bars and Bluray players. The 55-inch Q7 flatscreen QLED TV retails for RM12,999, the 65-inch Q7 flatscreen retails for RM19,999, the Q8 curved QLED TV retails for RM22,999, the 75-inch Q7 flatscreen TV ships for RM35,999, the larger 75-inch Q8 curved display retails for RM36,999 while Samsung’s epic magnum opus the 88-inch Q9 QLED TV flatscreen TV retails for a whopping RM99,999.

Also available is their beefed up UBD-M8500 Blu-ray player that has 4K and HDR support for RM1,799 and a range of soundbars led by their impressive HWK-950 soundbar which offers 5.1.4-channel Atmos support via 15 speaker drivers with a total of 500W power output that retails for RM5,999.

The new QLED TVs will be available nationwide at all Samsung Brand shops and authorised dealers nationwide starting from 16 May. To tie up with the launch, Samsung is also collaborating with iflix to offer a free one year subscription with any purchase of a 2017 Samsung Smart TV. This offer is good from today till 30 June 2017.
Tomorrow on 17 May, Samsung is offering a one-day 36% discount on their MU6100 55-inch UHD TV for the first 200 customers so that they can purchase it at RM2,999 from the original price of RM4,699 at their roadshow at the Midvalley Megamall at the Centre Court concourse. Customers who are keen to acquire the 65-inch Q8 curved QLED TV can get free goodies worth RM5,999 from Samsung’s roadshow partner Harvey Norman. This is made up of vouchers worth RM888 for additional Samsung products purchased at Harvey Norman, two years extended warranty worth RM3,133 from Harvey Norman and a free 1 month off 12 months 0% interest easy payment plan that clocks in at about RM1,916.58.
