New Sharp AQUOS XLED 4K TVs with gorgeous mini-LED panels make regional debut in Asia and beyond
With over a century in business, Sharp is easily one of the oldest TV brands on the planet. Debuting their first TV in 1953, this year marks their 111st anniversary worldwide. They’re continuing their rich tradition of making the world’s best TVs with the regional debut of their new Sharp AQUOS XLED 4K TV series not only in Malaysia but in the Asia region as well including SIngapore, Thailand, VIetnam, Indonesia, the Philippines as well as regions beyond including Africa, the Middle East, Taiwan and Bangladesh.

Sharp AQUOS XLED 4K TV details
The successor to their popular AQUOS XLED that was first introduced in Japan in 2021, the new AQUOS XLED 4K TVs feature Sharp’s Xtreme mini-LED panels that are capable of offering up to 2,000 backlight dimming zones to serve up exquisitely precise dynamic contrast.
Sharp’s Xtreme mini-LED panels are also capable of offering up to six times the peak brightness of conventional panels for better visuals. That’s not all as Sharp has also integrated their Deep Chroma Quantum Dot tech into the panels to offer 20% more colour gamut coverage versus their predecessors for true-to-life colour rendition and more immersive visuals.
The Sharp AQUOS XLED 4K TVs also pack an impressive ARSS+ surround sound speaker system with a grand total of 11 speakers spread across its slim design along with Dolby Atmos support to offer up a surprisingly vivid soundscape in lieu of a dedicated external speaker system.
Under the hood, the new TVs are all powered by Google TV, allowing for seamless interactivity and immediate access to all the usual content repositories like Netflix and YouTube.
