Sony launches their luscious Master series Class A9G 4K HDR OLED TVs
Sony Malaysia has just rolled out their most powerful line-up of TVs for the Malaysia market in the form of their Master series A9G 4K OLED TVs that aims to offer superior colour reproduction akin to a professional-grade display.
To achieve that lofty goal, the Sony A9G 4K HDR OLED TVs come with their next-generation Picture Processor X1 Ultimate engine for accurate detail and contrast by analysing each object onscreen and intelligently bumping up the detail and contrast as well as their Picture Processor X1 Ultimate tech for precise per pixel illumination and their Pixel Contrast Booster tech for better colour and contrast. The TVs are also able to upscale content to near 4K HDR quality. Netflix junkies will also appreciate their Netflix Calibrate Mode for precisely tuned visuals when you’re enjoying Stranger Things and the like.
On the audio front, the A9G 4K HDR OLED TVs have Dolby Atmos support and use their Acoustic Surface Audio+ speakers that use the entire screen as a speaker on top of a pair of integrated actuators and two subwoofers. The new TVs also pack their Sound-from+picture Reality algorithms that assess where everything is onscreen in a given sequence of footage and then mimicking positional audio for better aural immersion.
Under the hood, the Sony A9G 4K OLED TVs runs Android TV and have the obligatory shortcuts to YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Video and the like. The TVs also have Google Assistant support to issue voice commands and they also throw in Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit support to sweeten the pot.
