Summer Lesson is appearing in English for Playstation VR in 2017
If you’re looking for a VR game for the PlayStation VR that is distinctly Japanese, you can’t go further than Bandai Namco’s outing for the PlayStation VR dubbed Summer Lesson: Hikari Miyamoto.
The premise of Summer Lesson is that it allows you to interact with that most famous of Japanese archetypes – the schoolgirl- and layers in a series of social interactions with a healthy dose of VR immersiveness thrown in for good measure. The basic plot has you as a tuition teacher out to educate the aforementioned school-going lass on her summer break over the course of seven day. This is done via a stat-boosting simulation game of sorts where you have to select what she has to study via a series of menus combined with a series of social interactions.
If this stirring option in simulated home education piques your interest, you’ll be glad to know that it’ll be available with Japanese voice-overs with English subtitles in early 2017. For more details swing by Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia’s official Facebook page here.
