Acer Nitro VG240YE and VG270E feature 100Hz refresh rates and great prices from RM459

Acer is indubitably famous for their range of gaming and work laptops along with their range of high-end gaming monitors but they’re now looking to add to their more workhorse offerings with the addition of their new Nitro VG240YE and Nitro VG270E monitors that now come with DisplayPorts and 100Hz refresh rates at surprisingly modest prices that start from RM459.

What is the Acer Nitro VG240YE and Nitro VG270E

While their nomenclature looks obtuse, it’s somewhat straightforward. The Acer Nitro VG240YE features a 24-inch Full HD IPS display framed within what Acer refers to as a ZeroFrame bezel-less display. The rear also features support for a VESA mount in case the tripod-style stand does not appeal.

Up close the panel features a 100Hz refresh rate, a 1ms visual response boost (VRB) response time along with AMD FreeSync and a 99% sRGB wide colour gamut. It also has their Acer VisionCare technology to make it easier on the eyes when used for extended periods of time. Connectivity with the VG240YE is improved by quite a bit as it features a DisplayPort and HDMI port too.

The slightly larger Nitro VG270E has all the technologies and features of the smaller Nitro VG240YE but is scaled up slightly larger with a 27-inch IPS Full HD 100Hz panel.

How much is the Acer Nitro VG240YE and Nitro VG270E in Malaysia?

In terms of pricing, Acer Malaysia is issuing the 24-inch Nitro VG240YE at RM459 while the larger 27-inch Nitro VG270E retails for RM529. Both displays can be acquired at the Acer estore, Acer official store on Shopee as well as on Lazada.
